# How to Share Bar and Bat Mitzvah Photos

Collect family and guest photos from a bar or bat mitzvah celebration.

[**Create your event**](https://ownpix.app/#pricing)

Guests can share from their browser, with no app to download.

## The short answer

Create a shared event album for the celebration and invite guests to contribute. Check the venue’s photography rules before asking anyone to take photos during a service.

## A simple plan

### **Create the album**

Use a name and date guests will recognize.

### **Check photo rules**

Ask the family and venue where photography is welcome.

### **Share at the reception**

Put the code beside a clear instruction.

### **Keep the photos**

Download a copy after guests contribute.

## Plan around the family and venue

| **Moment** | **What to check** |
| --- | --- |
| Service, if included | Ask the venue about photography and device use |
| Reception | Place a code where guests can see it without blocking the space |
| Family pictures | Ask before sharing photos of children or private moments |
| Montage afterward | Check which images the family has permission to use |

A shared album can gather reception pictures from different guests. It does not replace any venue rules or the photographer’s delivery.

## Help guests contribute

Put “Scan to share your photos” beside the code and send the link to family afterward. If the gallery will reveal later, explain when guests can return. OwnPix links can be forwarded, and anyone with the link can view the available gallery.

## How OwnPix helps

OwnPix collects event photos and videos through a QR code or link. Share access with the intended group and download the photos before storage ends.
