[**Pix Wedding reports**](https://www.pix.wedding/guestpix-vs-the-guest) that The Guest stopped accepting new events in 2022. We could not independently access the original shutdown notice, so treat the date as reported and contact The Knot about an old account.

## What changes for guests?

The Guest historically used automatic photo sharing. With OwnPix, guests choose the photos and videos they want to upload. Tell guests when the gallery opens and who can see it: the OwnPix link can be forwarded.

## How OwnPix helps

OwnPix collects guest photos and videos through a QR code or link. Guests choose what to upload, and the host can set an optional reveal.
