OwnPix collects guest photos and videos for weddings and other events. The host sets up an event and shares each album’s QR code or link. Guests scan the code, open the album in their browser, choose files, and upload.

Guests need no app, account, or password. Hosts sign in with Google to set up and manage the event. Payment can happen before host sign-in.

Each photo is limited to 30 MB. Each video is limited to 30 MB and 3 minutes. Photos are converted to WebP before upload without resizing their pixel dimensions. Keep original photos separately.

All plans allow unlimited guests and photo/video uploads within the upload window, subject to the per-file limits. There is no separate total storage quota in GB. Storage is time-limited by the plan.

Anyone with an album link or QR code can upload and view its revealed gallery. Film Roll Mode hides the gallery until the host’s chosen reveal time; small cover previews may still appear. Links can be forwarded and are not password-protected. Host management requires sign-in. Keep album links private.

Hosts can download selected files or all files in the current album/filter as a ZIP from the dashboard. Downloads contain the stored media, including processed WebP photos, rather than the original camera files. Download each album before storage expires.

Upload and storage periods start on the event date. Uploads close at the plan’s upload deadline. Access ends when the expiry task marks the event deleted. The service attempts email warnings 30 and 7 days before storage expiry; download before that date. Media becomes eligible for permanent deletion 10 days after access ends. No self-service recovery or permanent hosting is included.

OwnPix uses a web browser on phones, tablets, and computers. Uploads need JavaScript, local browser storage, and a browser able to read the selected photo or video format. Try the demo on the devices your guests use before printing QR cards. There is no published browser-version or file-format compatibility guarantee.
