An app and printed keepsakes
Celebrate asks hosts to download its app to create an event, and describes event-code sharing and photo products ordered from its albums. OwnPix instead starts with a browser-based guest album; it does not include a print-ordering service.
Which should you choose?
Choose OwnPix if you want a dedicated photo and video album with a QR code and an optional reveal. Guests can add their moments from a browser.
Choose Celebrate if its app and printed photo products fit your group. Check the current guest joining flow and storage terms.
Before sending the invitation
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Upload window | Guests need time to add their photos |
| Album access | Know when to return and download a copy |
| Sharing | A link can be forwarded; tell guests who can see the gallery |
Test the QR code on another phone. In OwnPix, anyone with the event link can view the gallery once it is available.
