Choose your setup
| Idea | What guests do | What to plan |
|---|---|---|
| Enclosed booth | Step inside for photo strips | Space, queue, and print package |
| Open-air backdrop | Gather for group photos | Lighting and enough room to move |
| Instant camera station | Take a print and leave a note | Film, pens, and someone to replenish supplies |
| Phone-photo corner | Use their own phones against a backdrop | A stable setup and a clear sharing instruction |
| 360 booth | Record a short moving clip | Vendor, safe access, and floor space |
A booth and a shared album do different jobs. The booth creates a place for posed pictures; the album gathers the candid shots guests take around the room as well.
Make the corner easy to use
Place it near the reception rather than in a separate empty room. Keep props within reach, test the lighting from a guest's phone, and give the venue space to move around the setup.
Try this sign: “Take a photo together, then scan to share it with us.”
Do and don't
| Do | Don't |
|---|---|
| Test your backdrop and light after dark | Assume a bright daytime corner will stay bright |
| Ask the booth company how you receive files | Assume booth photos appear in your album automatically |
| Keep a clear walkway | Put the booth where a queue blocks guests |
